I’m Lorraine — the strategist behind Velvet Circle.
Velvet Circle was created for women who understand that modern dating isn’t just about chemistry — it’s about positioning, perception, psychology, and discernment.
My background spans over a decade in brand strategy, psychological marketing, personal branding, and image consultation, where my work focused on how people are perceived, chosen, and trusted. I’ve helped individuals and brands refine their presence, messaging, and positioning — and those same principles are exactly what shape attraction and decision-making in dating.
I also worked as a talent scout, which sharpened my ability to spot authenticity, misalignment, and false presentation quickly. Today, that skill allows me to help women not only attract aligned partners, but also identify red flags early, avoid time-wasters, and date with clarity and self-respect.
Becoming a certified life coach and matchmaker was a natural evolution of this work — but Velvet Circle is not traditional matchmaking. It is strategic dating support, grounded in real-world psychology and experience.
Women from Nairobi, Accra, South Sudan, South Africa, the UK, Canada, Germany, and the United States have trusted Velvet Circle during pivotal dating chapters. I’ve also supported and helped shape the early positioning and strategy of multiple well-known dating coaches, whose methods are still influenced by the frameworks I developed.
